Mechanics
Mechanical repair once the fault is known
Mechanical repair is the hands-on work after the cause is known. Diagnostics finds the fault. The mechanic’s job is to fix that fault and then check the original symptom. Both steps happen at the Hurricane shop.
The repair follows the test
A part replaced on a hunch can come off a car that still has the original problem. The labor was real. The fault was somewhere else. We test until the failed part or system is identified, explain it in plain language, and then do the mechanical work that fault calls for.
That work covers the vehicles we service: domestic, Asian, and most European. Bring the history with the car. A previous repair, a noise that changed, or a leak that started after other work all belong in the description you give us on the phone.
Brakes, steering, and suspension
These are mechanical systems with symptoms you can feel. A grind or squeal under braking, a pull to one side, a soft pedal, a clunk, or a car that wanders in a straight line each points at a different inspection. Pads, rotors, a caliper, a joint, a bushing, and a steering component are separate parts. The check tells us which one failed.
Bobby is ASE certified in brakes and in steering and suspension. Heating and air conditioning repairs are mechanical work too, and he is ASE certified in HVAC. Engine performance faults often end in a hands-on repair once the scan and the tests are finished. The certification that covers that testing is engine performance.
What you can expect at the bay
We no longer offer mobile auto repair. The vehicle needs to be at 405 W 100 N, Unit D4, Hurricane, during weekday hours. If it cannot be driven, have it brought to the shop. The diagnosis and the mechanical repair both happen here.
When a repair calls for programming, we can program most makes and models so the job can finish in the same shop. You leave with an explanation of what failed and what was done about it.
