Auto repair for Springdale drivers

Springdale is the town at Zion’s south entrance, and the shop is west of you in Hurricane. The drive is about 23 miles and around 35 minutes on SR-9. We do not work in Springdale, in the park, or on the roadside. We no longer offer mobile auto repair.

West on SR-9 through Rockville and Virgin

From Springdale, take SR-9 west. You pass through Rockville, with the river bridge, then Virgin, then La Verkin, and then Hurricane. Hurricane is about 23 miles west of Zion’s south entrance, and the drive is around 35 minutes when the road is moving. It is a scenic highway, and it is still the only way to get the car to us. The shop is at 405 W 100 N, Unit D4 in Hurricane.

Park traffic, shuttle buses, and a slow truck on the curves can add time. Plan the trip on a weekday. We are open Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, and closed Saturday and Sunday, which is when a lot of Zion travel happens. A weekend breakdown cannot be repaired here until we are open.

Locals and visitors use the same shop

Springdale is a small gateway town. A full diagnosis, the repair that follows it, and module programming on most makes and models are down the highway in Hurricane. Residents making a shop trip, and visitors whose car quits near the south entrance, have the same destination. We do not run a satellite shop for the park season.

Bobby is ASE certified in engine performance, HVAC, brakes, and steering and suspension. A check engine light, a brake problem, an overheating gauge, or a battery that quit after sitting all get tested at the Hurricane shop. We find the fault first so the drive back up SR-9 is not followed by another drive for a part that was never the cause.

If the car will not make the trip

We no longer offer mobile auto repair, including service calls into Springdale or Zion National Park. If the vehicle can be driven safely, bring it to Hurricane during weekday hours. If it cannot, have it transported to 405 W 100 N, Unit D4. We do not provide towing. A flashing check engine light or a temperature gauge in the red is a reason to stop driving and arrange that transport.

Call (435) 817-7016 while you are still in a place with a signal and describe what the car did. La Verkin is the last town before Hurricane if you are coming from the east, and it is only a few minutes from the shop once you reach it.
