Auto repair at our Hurricane shop

Hurricane sits on SR-9, the highway locals call State Street through town. East, SR-9 runs to La Verkin, Virgin, Rockville, and Springdale at Zion’s south entrance. West, it runs through Washington toward St. George, meeting I-15 at Exit 16. The shop is on Hurricane’s street grid at 405 West 100 North, Unit D4, a short trip inside town once you are here.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. Saturday and Sunday the shop is closed. Call (435) 817-7016 before you come if the car is a no-start or you are asking about a pre-purchase check, so we know what is arriving.

Owner Bobby Carrell has more than 20 years of professional experience and is ASE certified in engine performance, HVAC, brakes, and steering and suspension. The visit starts with the symptom. We test until the fault is known, explain it in plain language, and repair that fault. Domestic, Asian, and most European vehicles are the range.

Check engine lights, brake and oil checks, batteries, maintenance, breakdowns, and general repair are all shop work. When a repair calls for it, we program most makes and models, which keeps a module configuration from becoming a second stop. The full list is linked below.

La Verkin is only a few miles east on SR-9. Toquerville comes down SR-17 to La Verkin, then west into Hurricane. Washington and St. George are west on SR-9. Springdale is the longer drive east, about 23 miles, through Virgin and Rockville. People from those towns come here. We do not keep a shop in any of them, and we do not drive out to them.

If you already live in Hurricane, you are the local trip. Describe what the vehicle is doing and when it happens. That description is the start of the diagnosis, and it is more useful than a list of parts you think it might need.
